"My St. Augustine is beginning to yellow and die,what is going on?"
Answer: Look very closley at the thatch layer below the leaves in the yellow areas. You are looking for a small black bug with white on it's back. This is the chinch bug. Treat with a liquid pesticide that contains the active Bifinthrin. Make sure that the product has a t&o label(turf & ornamental).
